Just for your info, the x64 version seems to run fine on the Beta version of Windows 7 x64 however there seems to be a slight issue with the Taskbar icon.

On 7, when an application is running the taskbar icon should be shown 'boxed'. All the other apps I run do, but RDtabs does not. Not sure of the reason for this and am not complaining - just wanted to let you know

Keep up the good work !

Thanks for the heads up.

As for the icon, I am guessing it doesn't show "boxed" because it may be the app's responsibility to provide that visual aid? If so, When W7 is released and I get a chance to work on it, I will provide an update. Otherwise, maybe it's a W7 bug. 😃

Hi - understand what you have saif however just some more feedback - still running on Beta 1, however the new build 2.1.21 x64 is even worse :(

When runing, RD Tabs does not ever show in the Taskbar...... I cant see how it can be a Win7 issue as I have not seen any other application do this and I am running quite a few...... Ill try again after May 5 when the RC comes out.

K

That's odd because nothing changed with how RD Tabs presents itself to the operating system between .20 and .21. The only thing that changed were some bug fixes. Did you check your settings? Make sure "Show application in task bar" in the "General" tab is checked.

Ahhh yes. That seems to have sorted that out. Nice one. Not on by default though ? Can't remember what that option does on XP/Vista....

On a fresh installation, the task bar entry should be enabled by default and the icon in the task tray will be disabled by default. If you have a RD Tabs user.config (from, say, a settings transfer) then your previous task bar/task tray stay will migrate with it.
