I updated to 2.1.14 but it still warns me of an update 🤔 plus it crashed on start and I sent a report :)

Hmm. If it is still warning you that you need to update after installing 2.1.14, your installation of RD Tabs might be corrupt. It uses the version of the assembly stored in the EXE to determine whether an update is necessary, so you might have a mix-up of DLLs and EXEs which might be why it crashed after upgrading. Not sure. I am investigating some other code that was actually introduced in 2.1.13, but for some reason (maybe some other changes I made in .14) seems to be causing crashes in at least five reported cases.

Either way, I recommend uninstalling RD Tabs completely and deleting any residual files under Program Files\Avian Waves\RD Tabs, then re-installing 2.1.14 again. You will not lose any settings as they are stored under your user profile.

What version did you upgrade from? (2.1.13?) Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of RD Tabs? Is your OS 32-bit or 64-bit?

There will likely be a 2.1.15 later this week to address the aforementioned issue.

upgrading from 2.1.13 running 32bit XP Pro with SP3 and latest patches. I will try updating again 😇
